Daniel López Ramos fue designado por la FIH como arbitro para el campeonato Mundial Junior masculino de Césped en Singapur y Malasia del 7 al 21 de junio de 2009. Esta designación es un acontecimiento histórico para el hockey uruguayo.

I am pleased to advise that you have been recommended by the FIH Appointments Committee to be appointed as an Umpire for the men’s Junior World Cup, to be played in Johore (Malaysia) and Singapore from the 07/21 June 2009 (both dates inclusive). The tournament is a 20 team event to be played simultaneously in two countries.
